Understanding Korea and Koreans
Target Audience:
The workshop is aimed at foreign nationals and their families who are trying to integrate with the Korean way of life and business culture.
Objectives:
- Smooth the process of cultural integration and prevent cultural shocks.
- Reduce cross-cultural tension, offer tools to resolve incidents and avoid cultural conflicts.
- Understand main influences shaping the Korean mindset, culture
and way of life.
- Improve cross-cultural skills to successfully operate in a multinational environment.
Outcomes:
- Improved cross-cultural integration processes.
- Reduced transitional and change related stress.
- Enhanced effectiveness in both remote and face-to-face business interactions with multinationals.
- Independent ability to successfully assess and resolve cross-cultural conflicts and incidents.

Methodology:
The main focus of the workshop is on the practical application of the Korean culture and business life based on certain theoretical components and mostly real-life experiences, encompassing over a decade of consulting and training work with multi-national companies in and outside Korea. As such; it covers information which typically cannot be accessed through any other media, offing you a unique viewpoint and rare knowledge you cannot obtain elsewhere.
Activities:
Learning activities are outcome based, designed to be highly interactive. They include business games, role-plays, group discussions, presentations and case studies. The workshop aims to enrich participants with practical and demonstrable skills for use in the workplace and accommodate various levels of experience and capability.
